Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative Digital Marketing & Community Engagement Specialist to help us grow our platform, engage our Senegalese global community, and support our small-business partners. You will be responsible for crafting campaigns, managing content, and nurturing our network of members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns (social media, email, content) aligned with JokkoHub’s mission.
• Manage and grow our social media presence (Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Instagram) targeting Senegalese professionals and diaspora communities.
• Build and nurture online community engagement: respond to members, host virtual events/webinars, moderate discussions and forums.
• Collaborate with our small-business partners in Senegal to highlight their stories, create content and promote their offerings on the platform.
• Measure, analyse and report on campaign performance and community growth metrics; provide recommendations for improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with community management or working with diaspora/small-business networks.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation (graphics, video, copywriting) and analytics tools.
• Excellent communication skills in French; proficiency in Wolof or English is a plus.
• Passionate about professional development, small-business empowerment and community-building.
